Many winter wonderland family play adventures are found at resorts and public lands throughout Okanogan Country. Old fashioned sledding and innertubing hills provide well-earned thrills and satisfaction as rosy cheeked riders enjoy the white wonderland. Hot Chocolate by a dancing bon fire with family and friends can be enjoyed under the stars or sunshine. On the warmer days outdoor families may participate in creative snow sculpture. Build a snowman or a fort. In rural Okanogan Country there are lakes where neighbors and friends ice-skate as they have for decades. Layers are useful if you are doing any kind of strenuous activity in the cold. You can remove an outer layer or two as you warm up, then quickly put them back on again when you stop for a rest. Bring the kids with, because snow play in Okanogan Country is perfect for the entire family.
